Corey Glover‘s unmistakable voice, known for its raw power and emotional depth, takes center stage in an exciting new band named Sonic Universe. Joining the Living Colour frontman is Mike Orlando, a guitar virtuoso with a proven track record in bands like Adrenaline Mob and Noturnall. The rhythm section is anchored by the rock-solid grooves of bassist Booker King and the dynamic drumming of Taykwuan Jackson, creating a foundation that’s both tight and explosive.
Sonic Universe‘s potent blend of rock and grit is on full display in their debut single entitled “I Am”. The song comes from their debut album It Is What It Is, scheduled for release via earMusic this May 10.
The 10-song album was produced, engineered, and mixed by Mike Orlando at Sonic Stomp Studios, and can be pre-ordered here.
