Snow squall warning issued for areas of northern New Hampshire

THE. GOOD AFTERNOON. I’M STORMWATCH 9 METEOROLOGIST MATT HOENIG. WE’RE KEEPING AN EYE ON SOME SNOW SQUALLS MOVING THROUGH NORTHERN PARTS OF NEW NEW HAMPSHIRE RIGHT NOW. AND THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SNOW SQUALL WARNING FOR PARTS OF CARROLL COUNTY UNTIL 2:00 TODAY. THIS IS FOR AN AREA OF SOME VERY HEAVY SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS RIGHT ALONG THE 302 CORRIDOR. THE SNOW REALLY COMING DOWN IN BARTLETT AND GLENN, RIGHT NOW, HEADING RIGHT INTO NORTH CONWAY IN THE NEXT 5 TO 10 MINUTES. TRAVEL BETWEEN NORTH CONWAY AND THE OSSIPEE AREA. ALONG 16 IS GOING TO GO DOWNHILL VERY QUICKLY HERE IN THE NEXT 15 TO 20 MINUTES AS THE SQUALL WORKS THROUGH THE MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY, THE NATIONAL. WEATHER SERVICE IS URGING DRIVERS AND MOTORISTS TO PULL OVER AND CERTAINLY SLOW DOWN ONCE ENCOUNTERING SOME OF THESE REALLY HEAVY BANDS OF SNOW. WE DO HAVE MORE SNOW SHOWERS IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE. NONE OF THESE HAVE A SNOW SQUALL WARNING ON THEM JUST YET, BUT WE’LL KEEP AN EYE AS TH

A snow squall warning has been issued for areas of northern New Hampshire.

The warning issued by the National Weather Service is for areas of Carroll County until 2 p.m.
