DEMON HUNTER’s New Song Might As Well Be An Old Melodic Death Metal Song

Demon Hunter is now streaming their standalone single “Worlds Apart”, which would have felt right at home on any melodic death metal album between 2002 and 2008. In other words, it’s fantastic and unsurprising given Demon Hunter‘s past flirtations with the genre. I mean really, go listen The World Is A Thorn – it’s got spots from Björn Strid of Soilwork and Christian Älvestam (ex-Scar Symmetry, Solution .45, etc.).

Demon Hunter didn’t have much to say about the single outside that it was produced by the band’s Jeremiah Scott and mixed by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Spirit Adrift, etc.).
