Here’s a mysterious one – Refused has announced what they’re calling their “final festival” show at Stockholm’s Rosendal Garden Party this spring. No word on if Refused just plans to do more tours, or if they’re backing away from live performances altogether, or if they’re plotting their own demise. All we know is that you better get to Stockholm.
Rosendal Garden Party will take place between June 14 and 16 and features performances from The Cardigans, M.I.A., Massive Attack, Turnstile, and way more. The show is Refused‘s first in four years.
“Rosendal Garden Party has always been about breaking patterns and transforming the old festival concept into something new,” said Johanna Beckman, promoter for Rosendal Garden Party. “We’ve sought inspiration in art, activism, subcultures, and artists we love for their ability to shatter rigid structures. Both M.I.A. and Refused belong there. They have inspired us, and it feels fantastic that we can welcome both of them to Rosendal this year.”
