Guitar legend Marty Friedman is back with a new record Drama due out May 17, and a new single “Illumination” streaming right now. It’s not exactly a barn-burner of a track, but instead showcases a lot of Friedman‘s masterful phrasing and overall melodic vocabulary.
Drama slightly revisits the atmospheric elements of Friedman‘s acclaimed 1992 release Scenes as well, which is great news for anyone that’s been keeping up with the man’s illustrious career. Check out “Illumination” below and pre-order Drama here.
