The Summer Slaughter Tour Is Coming Back This Year

The Summer Slaughter Tour began posting after a long while earlier this month, which of course kicked the hype train into gear.

“Is it time for the return?” wrote festival organizers in their first Instagram post in nearly three years at the time. “There’s three more years of these posters we can’t even fit in this carousel… what was your favorite year from the ones above?”

Well, wonder no more – Summer Slaughter is back in 2024! All we know so far that is that organizers have confirmed the festival will come back this year, and will not bring back the accompanying Slaughter Survivors tour.

“Summer Slaughter at its peak was such a force it even had a spin off tour to help keep developing the scene,” wrote organizers. “Bad news – Slaughter Survivors won’t be back this year. Good news – SUMMER SLAUGHTER 2024 IS OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED. Line up and dates coming soon”

The Summer Slaughter Tour ran regularly between 2007 and 2019 and featured headlining spots from bands like Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Dying Fetus, Cattle Decapitation, Necrophagist, Decapitated, and way more.
