IN SEARCH OF SUN Stays Positive With New Single “Lemon Amigos”

In Search Of Sun is back with a new single “Lemon Amigos” and a new EP of the same name due out April 26. The single focuses on some pretty catchy hooks, all rounded out by a head-nodding instrumental section right at the end.

“When the Covid pandemic hit, like most bands, we found ourselves in limbo and we started to question whether In Search Of Sun had a future or if we’d prematurely reached the end of the road after nearly a decade of hard work,” said In Search Of Sun regarding the single. “The uncertainty weighed heavily on all five of us, and it left a sour taste in our mouths.

“Ironically, this uncertainty became our new catalyst. Since we couldn’t play any shows, we redirected all our time and focus into writing, and thus, the ‘Lemon Amigos’ concept was born. This creative process became our beacon of hope and reignited our belief in the band’s future.

“This EP represents hope for us. It marks the single most pivotal moment in our journey. In other words, five once bitter dudes channeling that bitterness into the most positive thing we’ve ever done, all out of a shared love for music. The future is bright, with a cheeky squeeze of lemon.”
