Carach Angren is planning to hit the studio for the follow-up to their 2020 record Franckensteina Strataemontanus, ending the longest gap between albums in their career. Carach Angren announced the new material on Instagram, noting that the new record will be out this year.
“The Writing is a portent of Doom…” wrote Carach Angren in a post. “We have finished the writing process for a new special haunting chapter that will be recorded and released this year! More soon.”
Carach Angren is currently guitarist and vocalist Seregor, and keyboardist, orchestrator, and vocalist Ardek. The next Carach Angren record will be their first without drummer Namtar, who drummed on all the band’s material up to and including Franckensteina Strataemontanus.
