Walmart has a habit of posting photos of their employees online as a of show of appreciation. The Johnsburg, IL location recently posted their employee Christain – who was sporting a Thy Art Is Murder shirt, looking vaguely pleased about being at work – and the band took notice.
Thy Art Is Murder has made a public appeal to Christain‘s place of employment, asking them to let Christain have a day off to go see ’em at the House of Blues on April 20. Walmart hasn’t responded yet, but c’mon. Give the dude the day off! And let him bring the smock – free tickets are at stake.
“Yo Walmart let our man Christian have the day off for our Chicago show, free tickets if he wears the Walmart smock,” wrote Thy Art Is Murder.
Thy Art Is Murder is currently out on the road wirh AngelMaker, Signs Of The Swarm, and Snuffed On Sight as support, and we better see Christain at one of the dates. Tickets are available here.
