You Can’t Miss DANNY CAREY In His New Stage Costume

If you saw Tool at the Accor Arena in Paris on June 5, you might’ve wondered what that ball of light was doing behind the drum kit. I have some insane news for you – that was actually Danny Carey!

Hyperbole aside, Carey debuted a brand new suit designed by FX artist Jacob Roanhaus and it’s pretty cool looking. The suit appears to also pay homage to artist Alex Grey, who’s responsible for a good chunk of Tool‘s visual art over the years. No word on if the suit gave Carey extra incredible drumming abilities above his usual superhuman-ness.
