Ed Sheeran is continuing his slow bleed into the metal world thanks to an appearance with Limp Bizkit during their Pinkpop performance.
Sheeran got on stage with Bizkit to perform sadly not anything like “Break Stuff” or “Nookie”, but the band’s cover of The Who‘s 1971 single “Behind Blue Eyes”. Of course the ballad fits Sheeran‘s voice, but frankly it’d be way cooler if the dude got out there and crushed “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)”.
As for the “slow bleed into the metal” comment, Sheeran is slated to appear on the upcoming Cradle Of Filth record due out sometime in 2025.
