HEALTH Drops Industrial Remix Of LAMB OF GOD’s “Laid To Rest”

Lamb Of God is celebrating 20 years of Ashes Of The Wake not only with an anniversary tour (with Mastodon doing the same), but with a massive reissue!

Lamb Of God recently announced the 20th anniversary edition of Ashes Of The Wake featuring new mixes by HEALTH, Justin K Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu, etc.), and Kublai Khan TX and Malevolence, as well as demo and live versions of the album’s classic songs. The reissue is out August 30 and you can check out HEALTH‘s industrial take on “Laid To Rest” below.

“When we were discussing ideas for the 20th anniversary of Ashes of the Wake, a HEALTH remix was one of the first things we thought of. Thanks to those guys for being a part of the anniversary release,” said Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe about the reimagined track from the L.A.-based industrial rock band.

HEALTH added: “Before you get angry with us for ruining your favorite song, please try to remember that Lamb of God asked us to do this remix. Enjoy!”

Pre-orders are available here.

Lamb Of God and Mastodon will hit the road this July and August to play their 2004 albums Ashes Of The Wake and Leviathan in full.
