ROBERT TRUJILLO & GIL SHARONE To Guest On JERRY CANTRELL’s New Single

Alice In Chains guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell is set to drop his solo single “Vilified” and it’s got some pretty special guests! “Vilified” features Metallica bassist and vocalist Robert Trujillo alongside drummer Gil Sharone (Stolen Babies, The Dillinger Escape Plan, etc.), so stay tuned for some… heaviness? Maybe?

“Really stoked to be hitting the road with @bush @candlebox plus special guests to start the campaign for the new record,” said Cantrell of the single on Instagram.

“Here’s a couple shots from the studio with my brothers @robtrujillo and @gilsharone who cut the first single Vilified with me. Also a shot of my esteemed producing partner @eviljoebarresi who helped me birth this beautiful bastard . Tickets are moving fast for these shows so grab a stub and come Rawk out with us.”

Cantrell put out his first solo album since 2001 named Brighten in 2021, and has been touring as a solo act for a few years now. Cantrell also has a tour coming up with Bush and Candlebox starting on July 26. So new material right at the start of those dates (as with any band) seems feasible as well. Get your tickets here.
