Queens Of The Stone Age originally cancelled all their July European festival appearances for frontman Josh Homme to undergo emergency surgery. As Homme recovers, Queens Of The Stone Age has now also cancelled their August shows throughout Europe.
We wish Homme all the best with his health and look forward to Queens Of The Stone Age getting back out there. The following is a statement from Queens Of The Stone Age:
“Due to continued medical care, it is under doctors’ orders that Josh Homme remain in their care in the United States. The following QOTSA festival performances have been cancelled.
8/8 Way Out West
8/9 Oya
10/8 Syd For Solen
15/8 Cabaret Vert
16/8 Lowlands
18/8 Pukkelpop
21/8 Villar de Mouros
“The Homme family and QOTSA are so grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and kind understanding during this time.”
