NE OBLIVISCARIS Rejoined By Former Drummer, Remastered Citadel Coming Soon

It’s a big day for Ne Obliviscaris! First and foremost, the band has parted ways with drummer Kevin Paradis and is rejoined by longtime drummer Dan Presland. Presland originally drummed for Ne Obliviscaris between 2005 and 2011, and then again between 2012 and 2021. Funny enough, Presland recorded drums for Ne Obliviscaris‘ latest record Exul before leaving the band – so despite not being a member for three years, dude is still on all four Ne Obliviscaris full-length albums.

“First of all, we just wanted to thank Kevin Paradis who has done a wonderful job over the last 14 months as the band’s live drummer on our Exul world tour” wrote Ne Obliviscaris.

“Kevin has been part of some of our best-ever tours and we are grateful for his contribution to creating some of our best-ever moments performing as a band. Reuniting with Dan on drums was not something we had in mind until quite recently. But after three years apart, and a rekindled friendship, the lure of performing Citadel, Exul and other fan-favorites with Dan behind the kit is something we are incredibly excited about. This exciting news, combined with our just-completed European summer festival tour, and the amazing new re-master of Citadel on the horizon, sets up an amazing second half of 2024 for us. See you all on the road!”

As previously mentioned, Ne Obliviscaris will also release a remastered version of their 2014 album Citadel on August 16 digitally, with a CD and vinyl version coming later this year. Ne Obliviscaris‘ tour dates with Presland are as follows.
