Faces Of The Bog is here to bring you all the Pink Floyd heaviness you could need with a cover of “Pigs (Three Different Ones)”. The cover takes the proggy original and adds some serious steamroller heft to it, resulting in a track that should only be played at maximum volume.
“We feel like this song will hit just as hard now as it did when it was first conceived almost 50 years ago,” said Faces Of The Bog of the cover. “It shines a bit of a light on the greed and the lack of self awareness and empathy of not just corporate America but the ruling class as a whole. The whole album, being loosely based on Orwell‘s Animal Farm unfortunately might be even more relevant today than in the 70’s. So uh… Enjoy?”
Faces Of The Bog will release their cover of Pink Floyd‘s Animals record on September 6. Animals was recorded at Electrical Audio and Hypercube by Sanford Parker, mixed by Parker, and mastered by Colin Jordan. Pre-orders are available here.
