Death Pose – the new band formed from the ashes of bands including Typesetter, Little Teeth, The Sky We Scrape – is now streaming the gritty music video for the furious 2023 single “The Riverside”. It’s gritty, it’s dirty as hell, and it’s gonna be stuck in your head.
“Taken from the Sun Tzu quote, ‘If you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by’; this song is pretty straight forward and is about those in our lives that mask as friends and confidants but when your back is turned – prove to be snakes in the grass. I’ve always been one who tries to see the best in others, so this is a reflection on those who haven’t stood the test of time.”
Death Pose released their new album Midnight Society in October 2023. The album was produced by Jeff Dean (Alkaline Trio, Braid, The Story So Far, Samiam) at The Echo Mill and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, Every Time I Die, Thrice, Mastodon, Dillinger Escape Plan) at West West Side.
