Nikki has traded in her OCD with vodka for hating Adam Newman full-time. Lucy Romalotti is obsessed with being Faith Newman’s BFF & whenever Summer Newman says “my son” or “our son” Y&R fans go nuts.
This week’s Weekly #WTF on Y&R…
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has replaced her OCD with triple distilled vodka for hating her stepson Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) full-time. That can happen when one falls so far off the wagon that they need in-patient treatment but are only checked in for about 10 minutes.
How is it possible that none of the other Newmans have found Nikki’s treatment too short & at least a bit sketchy? Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been going on & on about Nikki not being ready to get back to being CEO of Newman Media so she can concentrate on her outpatient treatment. Now Victor has her slated to become CEO of Chancellor Industries if/when that deal goes through. How?!? Why?!? Something is still not right with Nikki Newman.
Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) is so cute & sweet but troubled. Almost everyone loves Lucy on Young & the Restless, except Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). Faith likes Lucy because she’s sweet & probably can’t hate anyone, but being Lucy’s BFF this summer is not in the cards.
Faith Newman isn’t the only kid in Genoa City for Lucy to follow around. Actually, Faith is an adult. She just finished her freshman year of college in Michigan. Lucy mentions sporadically spending time with friends her age from Walnut Grove, but this hasn’t been seen by Young & the Restless fans.
Has anyone informed Lucy that Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) is back in Genoa City? Before Johnny went back to boarding school, he had a nice little vibe with Lucy. Lucy spending time with Johnny Abbott would be way more age-appropriate & would still leave room for teenage drama for Y&R fans.
Connor’s OCD has totally somehow overflowed over to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). Across social media Young & the Restless fans have grown more than irritated with Summer & every time she says “my son” or “our son.” Harrison’s dad Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is right about one thing, Summer is not Harrison’s biological mother. Also, she’s never adopted him. Also, we don’t know if Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) last name is still Locke or if it has been changed to Abbott.
The powers-that-be at CBS need to bring back Harrison’s biological mother, the mother who raised him for the first three years of his life who has to be out of jail by now for the very trivial money crime she committed. Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) returning to Genoa City should fix Summer Newman’s version of OCD right up.
