Good Samaritan finds kidnapped babies on side of Indiana street



A good Samaritan is being credited with finding and saving two infants who were reported missing out of Indiana.Indianapolis Metro Police reported the two baby girls missing on Monday morning.They said officers were called to the 1800 block of Gimber Street on report of a possible kidnapping shortly before 11 a.m. that day.Police said a vehicle was reported stolen and with the girls inside. The girls are only 4 months old and 5 months old, police said.IMPD released a photo of the stolen vehicle, identified as a silver 2013 Hyundai Sonata, and two pictures of the babies.Officers found the stolen car shortly after noon. The babies were not inside and the suspect was gone.WTTV in Indianapolis reported police received a 911 call from a good Samaritan who spotted them on the side of S. Riley Street. That person took the babies into their home, police said. IMPD said the babies are safe and were checked by medical professionals. IMPD is unsure how long the babies were left in the cold.So far, no arrests have been made.
