Across social media what Y&R fans want most for Christmas is for Trevor St. John to return as Tucker McCall. Other fans wouldn’t mind seeing the Grand Phoenix open again with Phyllis at the helm. Otherwise, Young & the Restless fans are just short of demanding that Victor Newman finally loses a battle. Time is running out & fans might just be left with soap opera New Year’s Resolutions…

The Almighty Victor Newman Can Take a Hit on Y&R

It’s about time for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to finally take a hit. The Almighty Victor Newman isn’t even nice to anyone anymore. He’s not even nice to his darling wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Victor did rebuild the original Newman Ranch & bought Chancellor Industries for Nikki to run, but it wasn’t long ago he told her to her face she may as well go live with her dear friend Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). The Mustache hates Smilin’ Jack Abbott. Not necessary.

Speaking of Jack Abbott, Victor Newman’s vendetta against him & his brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could not be more tired & sickening. Victor Newman did everything in his power to bring down Billy Boy as he was running Abbott Chancellor & doing it well. Yet somehow Billy’s mother Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) allowed herself to be brainwashed into thinking Billy was being careless & sold the company to The Mustache. If anyone was out of line at Abbott Chancellor, it was Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) going behind Billy Boy’s back to bring him down so she would run the company herself. Billy isn’t the only one who Victor brought down this time, Lily went down with him.

Speaking of Lily Winters, She Failed The Grand Phoenix

Speaking of Lily Winters, she also failed the Grand Phoenix. She bought the hotel from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) & it has been seen by Young & the Restless fans since. Now everyone who doesn’t have a home is living at the Genoa City Athletic Club & every single room looks the same. Even former hotel proprietor Phyllis is living there along with her daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Phyllis selling the Grand Phoenix was a poor choice on her part. While she’s managed to pick up jobs here & there, each of them has lasted for about 10 minutes. Phyllis needs a purpose which is a full-time job. Without something to do, she is almost full-time causing trouble for herself & others in Genoa City.

It’s time to make Phyllis Summers great again & to bring back the Grand Phoenix. Phyllis was at her best when she ran that hotel & it was also the scene of many meetings, events, & another place for Genoa City residents & visitors to stay. The GCAC doesn’t need to go anywhere. There is more than enough demand for at least two hotels in Genoa City.

What Y&R Fans Want: Tucker by Trevor Back in GC ASAP

More than anything, Young & the Restless fans want Tucker McCall by Trevor St. John back in Genoa City ASAP. Tucker’s humor is missed by soap opera fans all over social media. Tucker’s faces, remarks, sarcasm, & his way with the ladies combined made him a hoot & a half.

Tucker McCall has all kinds of unfinished business in Genoa City on Y&R. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is back in town with her mental health in order. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is hot as ever & now unemployed. There are loose ends at both Chancellor Industries & Glissade for Tucker to pull if he was so inclined.

So, here’s to The Mustache maybe losing one in 2025, The Grand Phoenix reopening with Phyllis at the helm, & Tucker Mccall being the first guest to check-in.
