Ad in partnership with CVS

Every month we share out favorite deals from CVS’ Extra Big Deals Event, but this month feels extra special because it’s the start of a new year. That means, you’re likely looking to stock up on the things that will help you hit your health and wellness goals — without breaking the bank after an expensive holiday season — and CVS can help.

Our go-to drugstore is offering discounts, Buy One Get One Free deals and more on top brands in the wellness, beauty and home space from now until January 25. To shop the Extra Big Deals Event, you just need to become an ExtraCare membership, which is quick, easy and free. An ExtraCare membership not only gets you access to the sale, it also includes year-round perks like birthday rewards, exclusive savings and more. If you’re a serious saver, we suggest paying the $5/month for the ExtraCare+ membership which includes all the perks of the ExtraCare membership, plus extra rewards like 20% off CVS Health® brand products, free delivery and free shipping.

To help you find what’s worth grabbing from the Extra Big Deals Event, we asked Sam Tahan, a registered dietitian and lifestyle expert to shop the sale. Watch her video below and grab her resolution-focused picks online or in-store.

About Sam

RMN: Tell us a bit about yourself.

I am a registered dietitian in Southern California with a private practice that really focuses on holistic well being and sustainable health.

RMN: Why do you think people should be aware of CVS’ Extra Big Deals?

CVS is such a convenient store and already in the rotation for so many people, but I think sometimes we forget how many items CVS carries and during this time they have so many amazing deals. It’s a great time to stock up for the year to make sure we are supporting our goals.

RMN: What items are you most excited about finding on sale when shopping at CVS?

I was so excited about the collagen options, the sugar-free Liquid I.V., and the face wipes I use weekly (and love to keep in stock).

RMN: How does CVS help you reach your health goals?

Health products can be overwhelming and costly, so being able to get some items from CVS is not only convenient but also sustainable.

RMN: Any other tips for finding the best deals when shopping?

Make a list of certain general items you need so you have somewhat of a direction when you head into the store, but then be open to different brands because you could find a new favorite!
