Thanks to Billy Boy Abbott, Team Phyllis rises again on Young & the Restless. Since Jeremy Stark was leading Team Phyllis & she killed him back, things haven’t been so great for Red. Will Abbott Communications be her next amazing rise since the Grand Phoenix?
Let’s rant, Young & the Restless fans!!…
Team Phyllis was a complete failure under Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), but he wasn’t just the leader, he was the only Team Phyllis team member. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) fell as fast as she rose while she built & ran the Grand Phoenix in Genoa City.
Since Phyllis Summers sold the hotel to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) who hasn’t done a damn thing with it she paid back Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). So, Miss Phyllis was square with everyone in Genoa City again but only for about 10 minutes. One Jeremy Stark landed in Genoa City with ties to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) Phyllis replaced Genoa City’s hottest mess Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) with herself.
Team Phyllis has been in need of a reboot since she rose from her fake death. The woman needs purpose, fire, & love. All of the above were buried in a faraway place, pushing some of the most loyal Phyllis Summers fans away for what some say is too far away to return. While Phyllis’s kids Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) & Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) attempt & claim to be supportive, they are skeptical of every single move she makes in real-time. As of late, Billy Boy Abbott is the only one in Genoa City who has her damn back full time.
Not only is Billy Boy backing up Miss Phyllis, but he’s also investing in her son Daniel. Daniel has been unemployed since well before Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) was killed supposedly by Ian Ward (Ray Wise) & dumped in the river by Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) & a J-O-B is exactly what he needs. This job just isn’t any job, it’s a creative job with an abundance of freedom for Daniel Romalotti to be as creative as possible & to find unlimited success.
Now the question is where Abbott Communications will be officing out of. The Grand Phoenix isn’t being used right now…
