This expanded partnership between Gap and Wotherspoon brought vintage lovers a dream collection of hand-selected pieces from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s. Fans rushed to grab classics like the ’90s Striped Pocket T-shirt and the coveted ’80s Denim Jacket Hoodie, proving that Gap’s timeless style is as in-demand as ever.
The good news? This was just the beginning! GapVintage is set to roll out more drops throughout the year, giving vintage lovers another shot at scoring archival gems.
The GapVintage program features hand-picked vintage pieces from Gap’s archives curated by designer Sean Wotherspoon. You’ll find seasonal-themed pieces and iconic styles from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s, released through a series of drops throughout the year.
The first GapVintage drop launched in the U.S. on Tuesday, February 4, at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT on gap.com, with an exclusive in-store release at Gap’s Flatiron Store in New York. In Japan, shoppers got a head start with select pop-ups in Shinjuku, Tokyo, on February 1 and Osaka on February 8.

GapVintage drops are considered specialty or limited-edition collections, which means they are excluded from most standard Gap coupons and promotions.
