Arguably the talk of the game industry this week is Blue Prince, a wildly inventive puzzle game that launched on April 10. This first-person adventure tasks you with exploring a 45-room mansion to find a mysterious 46th room. The catch is that each room is generated from a randomized selection of various blueprints, each containing its own layouts and number of entryways, and the goal is to build a connecting path to Room 46…or so it seems.
Rooms contain far more than meets the eye, hiding bespoke puzzles, hidden clues, and vital secrets that add layers of intrigue to this unique adventure. Blue Prince is a tough game to describe, so we’re happy to simply show you how it works in this episode of New Gameplay Today.
