Bow, New Hampshire crash: I-93 North back open



Interstate 93 North was closed for two hours Tuesday in Bow after a rollover crash involving a propane tanker.The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. between the Hooksett Welcome Center and the I-89 on-ramp.>> Raw video: See video over scene of crash on I-93 in BowPolice said two tractor-trailers, one carrying propane, collided, sending the propane tanker over a guardrail. Daniel Baldassarre. “When you have several accidents resulting from it, we have different accidents in different lanes. The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. between the Hooksett Welcome Center and the I-89 on-ramp.

Police said two tractor-trailers, one carrying propane, collided, sending the propane tanker over a guardrail. A hazmat team responded after the tanker started leaking propane.

Both drivers were taken to as hospital with minor injuries. Police said speed was likely a factor, and it appears the other truck was following the tanker closely before the crash.

Traffic backed up in the area for miles. At 1:35 p.m., I-93 was reopened, but slowdowns in the area remained.
