The New York Giants are without their franchise quarterback for the rest of the regular season, as Jaxson Dart is out with a left knee injury that required surgery. The injury happened during the team’s Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Rams on the first drive, and with it being the beginning of the season, the timing really couldn’t be worse.

On Saturday morning, NFL insider Tom Pelissero of The Ringer shared the news that the Giants, according to his report, are working on getting a new quarterback right now.
“The Giants spent the week making calls on QBs after Jaxson Dart’s injury, and league sources believe it’s a matter of when, not if, they acquire one — possibly as soon as Monday,” he stated on X, sharing a link to his Substack.
