MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen is leading a bipartisan push for answers over reported Starlink disruptions in Ukraine.
Starlink is the satellite internet service developed by Elon Musk’s company, SpaceX.
Shaheen is one of nine senators calling for a Pentagon Inspector General Investigation into whether the alleged communications outages put American personnel at risk during Russian air attacks.
The group of senators also want to know whether U.S. officials approved of or knew about the disruptions in advance, and whether SpaceX violated any government contracts.
The senators are demanding an update by Nov. 1.
