Puscifer<\/a><\/strong> is now streaming their new single “The Algorithm” from the soundtrack to Sumerian Records’ American Psycho<\/em> comic series.<\/p>\n The single comes alongside a music video featuring illustrations by Piotr Kowalski<\/strong> and Brad Simpson<\/strong>, and animation by Tony Celano<\/strong>. As for the lyrical content, vocalist Maynard James Keenan<\/strong> makes his feelings on social media and its avid users very clear.<\/p>\n “Joining forces with the legendary rock band Puscifer<\/a><\/strong> for our soundtrack to the American Psycho<\/em> comic book series is an electrifying collaboration,” said Nathan Yocum<\/strong>, president of Sumerian Comics. “This original song brings an intensity and depth to the narrative, elevating the experience for fans and readers alike. We’re thrilled to amplify the story’s impact with Puscifer<\/a><\/strong>‘s signature sound, creating a fusion of music and storytelling that will further captivate audiences.”<\/p>\n Mat Mitchell<\/strong>, Puscifer<\/a><\/strong> guitar player and co-writer, added: “Our approach to writing ‘The Algorithm’ was not to delicately peel back the layers of the onion, but instead, to take an axe to it.”<\/p>\n The American Psycho<\/em> comic series is available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
