After what feels like years of teasing, Nile<\/a><\/strong> is finally back! Nile<\/a><\/strong> will release their new record The Underworld Awaits Us All<\/em> on August 23 and is now streaming a song whose name is too long for headlines, “Chapter For Not Being Hung Upside Down On A Stake In The Underworld And Made To Eat Feces By The Four Apes”.<\/p>\n If you’re wondering where a title like that comes from, look no further than the Egyptian Book of the Dead’s 181st<\/sup> chapter\u2026 which of course Nile<\/a><\/strong> frontman and mastermind Karl Sanders<\/strong> knows and references.<\/p>\n “‘Chapter for not being Hung Upside Down’ is one of our favorite tracks on the new record,” said Sanders<\/strong>. “It’s a lot of fun to play, challenging and unpredictable, but with an infectiously brutal, unrestrained vibe that I am very certain will be a blast in the mosh pit during live shows.<\/p>\n “We are super happy to be working with Tom Flynn<\/strong> for the video for this song \u2013 he is a visionary with insanely creative ideas and a really cool guy to work with. Very excited for people to see what he has been cooking up with this video.”<\/p>\n On the album itself, Sanders<\/strong> continued: “We are very happy to be sharing with fans Nile<\/a><\/strong>‘s 10th<\/sup> album. We worked overtime making this record as killer as we could \u2013 because we sincerely felt fans deserved our best efforts.
