The Jesus Lizard<\/a><\/strong> is back with their first new record in 28 years Rack, due out September 13 via Ipecac Recordings. The Jesus Lizard<\/a><\/strong> is now streaming “Hide & Seek”, which vocalist David Yow<\/strong> describes as “a perky ditty about a witch who can\u2019t behave, and it’s got nearly as many hooks as a Mike Tyson <\/strong>fight.”<\/p>\n The Jesus Lizard<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> guitarist Duane Denison<\/strong> added: “There are definitely some references to the past, but it’s more as a point of departure: We don’t stay there.”<\/p>\n Bassist David Wm. Sims<\/strong> said the band “literally only made the record because we thought it would be fun to make the record,” while drummer Mac McNeilly<\/strong> noted: “We are bonded by the music we make, and also by the respect we have for each other”<\/p>\n Pre-orders are available here<\/a>.
