Instrumentally, the band really drives home the chunkiness of the original riff, and the breakdown toward the end is a nice touch!<\/p>\n<p>Where this falls a little flat is the vocals. Not in their execution \u2013 the growls and all that sound fine \u2013 but in the fact that they kinda don&#8217;t really belong. &#8220;Sober&#8221; largely relies on <strong>Maynard James Keenan<\/strong>&#8216;s melodic lives above the droning riffs, and without that you just get\u2026 this.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it&#8217;s a cool idea.
