Metallica<\/a><\/strong> is about to be the first band to take the proverbial stage across Fortnite Festival, Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and more thanks to their Fortnite, Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury event.<\/p>\n The event will take place on June 22 at 2, 5, and 11pm EST and June 23 at 10am, 2, and 5pm EST.<\/p>\n “Completely customized and built from the ground up using Unreal Editor for Fortnite by technology studio Magnopus, Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. is a brand-new playable concert that will journey through six of Metallica<\/a><\/strong>‘s fan-favorite songs with themed gameplay that complements the intensity of a Metallica<\/a><\/strong> live show,” reads a description of the event.<\/p>\n The event also spills over into Fortnite’s actual gameplay, as the new season of Fortnite Festival introduces the Battle Stage, a new competitive way to play the rhythm music game, and will be available even after the Metallica<\/a><\/strong> collaboration concludes.<\/p>\n Fortnite Festival\u2019s Battle Stage will see 16 players in a match, all will play from the same four-song setlist, and one will emerge victorious.
