Black Sabbath<\/a><\/strong>‘s 1970 debut album just saw a 2,800% spike in sales thanks to a vinyl reissue.<\/p>\n According to a report by Forbes<\/a><\/em>, the album sold 3,365 copies in the past tracking period, which is insane compared to the 116 copies sold in the period before that. the sales landed Black Sabbath<\/em> at No. 6 on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart and at No. 23 on the Top Album Sales chart. Which again, totally bonkers considering Black Sabbath<\/em> is 54 years old and you’d just assume everyone has a copy at this point. Though people also keep buying Metallica<\/a><\/strong>‘s Black Album<\/em>, so who knows.<\/p>\n Speaking of reissues, Black Sabbath<\/a><\/strong> recently finally reissued their Tony Martin<\/strong>-material both physically and on all streaming services. For those unaware, Martin<\/strong> sang for Black Sabbath<\/a><\/strong> between 1987 and 1991, and then again between 1993 and 1997. Martin<\/strong>‘s discography with the band includes The Eternal Idol<\/em>, Headless Cross<\/em>, Tyr<\/em>, Cross Purposes<\/em>, and Forbidden<\/em>, all of which were largely unavailable on any format until now (The Eternal Idol<\/em> has been on streaming services for years).\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
