Guitarist Diego Cavallotti<\/strong> has commented about his exit from Lacuna Coil<\/a><\/strong>, which happened earlier this week<\/a>. Joining the band in 2016 initially as a fill-in guitarist after Marco “Maus” Biazzi<\/strong>‘s departure, Cavallotti<\/strong> shared the following message on social media today:<\/p>\n “Good morning everyone. I want to share with all of you this post regarding my departure from the band. Yes, I am no longer part of the Lacuna Coil<\/a><\/strong>.”<\/p>\n “Although this decision is not the result of my dissatisfaction or desire to explore new opportunities, I have serenely decided to accept it in consideration of these almost 10 wonderful years spent together, playing around the world, and to allow the band to continue its course without me.<\/p>\n “I wish to Maki<\/strong>, Andrea<\/strong>, Cristina<\/strong>, and Richard<\/strong> the greatest success and the greatest satisfaction. I thank them for the huge wealth of experience gained over all these years, always side by side.”<\/p>\n “I thank all of you, friends, fans and artists who have written to me but above all for the immense support that I\u2019m receiving.”<\/p>\n “However, this is not the end of anything, one chapter has just been closed and I am ready to write another one. For me Music is, and remains, my only reason for living and I will never stop doing what I love, even if that meant going back to playing in garages or in front of anyone.<\/p>\n “I can\u2019t wait to find out what the future has for me, I am ready to evaluate every possible new opportunity and I will continue to carry out my projects with pride and dedication.””<\/p>\n Thank you very much to everyone, see you around.”<\/p>\n Lacuna Coil<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0recently wrapped up their “Ignite The Fire” U.S. tour, and according to\u00a0Cristina Scabbia<\/strong>‘\u00a0the band is already working on new material<\/a>, which could even be out this year.<\/p>\n
