Following the unexpected cancellation of their performance at Slovakia’s Topfest later this month, Canadian thrash metal icons Annihilator<\/a><\/strong> have revealed plans for a special livestream event from the UK. This event commemorates the 35th<\/sup> anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album, Alice In Hell<\/em>. Joining them for this celebration is Into Eternity<\/a><\/strong> vocalist Stu Block<\/strong>, who will perform the entire album.<\/p>\n The lineup for this event features Annihilator<\/a><\/strong>‘s guitarist and founder Jeff Waters<\/strong>, guitarist Aaron Homma<\/strong>, bassist Rich Gray<\/strong> (a.k.a. Rich Hinks<\/strong>), and drummer Fabio Alessandrini<\/strong>. In addition to the full performance of Alice In Hell<\/em>, the band will treat fans to a selection of “best-of” tracks, with hits chosen by the fans themselves.<\/p>\n Jeff Waters<\/strong> shared the announcement via a video message, stating: “We are celebrating, as some of you already know, the\u00a0Alice In Hell<\/em>\u00a0record, which is 35 years old now. And to celebrate that for you, actually, we want to do, and we’ll do, a live stream, one-off, no downloads, no repeats. It’s gonna happen on Saturday, June the 29th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n “We are gonna play the entire\u00a0Alice In Hell<\/em>\u00a0record. We’re gonna play some other classic\u00a0Annihilator<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0songs. We are gonna give you some documentary footage talking about the record and the making of the album and the early days. Also, we are featuring\u00a0Stu Block<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 yes, the amazing\u00a0Stu Bloc<\/strong>k\u00a0is going to sing in honor of\u00a0Randy Rampage<\/strong>, the original singer, and we’re gonna have a blast. So come and join us on Saturday, June 29th<\/sup>. Check it out.”<\/p>\n Tickets are available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Stu Block<\/strong>, who has been associated with Annihilator<\/a><\/strong> since their reworked 2007 Metal<\/em> album titled Metal II<\/em> \u2013 which also features ex-Slayer<\/a><\/strong> drummer Dave Lombardo<\/strong> \u2013 is indeed a very suitable choice to pay tribute to the pipes of the late Randy Rampage<\/strong>.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
