Sharon Osbourne<\/strong> is working on a new superhero cartoon featuring Ozzy Osbourne<\/a><\/strong> and the late Mot\u00f6rhead<\/a><\/strong> frontman Lemmy Kilmister<\/strong>. According to Osbourne<\/strong> in an interview with The Entertainer Magazine<\/a><\/em>, “It’s very, very funny. It’s irreverent and funny. Hopefully somebody will buy that and that’ll go out. We’re excited about it.”<\/p>\n The cartoon wouldn’t be the first time Ozzy<\/a><\/strong> and Lemmy<\/strong> went on an animated adventure, as the duo did exactly that in the “Hellraiser” video from 2022. I think where I’m personally getting a little hung up here is that obviously there’s no way to know if Lemmy<\/strong> would’ve wanted this for himself, and that his inclusion feels more like the use of intellectual property more than anything else.<\/p>\n But who knows \u2013 maybe I’m wrong, this cartoon kicks ass, there was an indication that Lemmy<\/strong> was down with something like this, and this whole things goes straight to Metalocalypse<\/em> levels. I hope it does.<\/p>\n As for Ozzy Osbourne<\/a><\/strong> himself, he’s still struggling with health issues. Osbourne<\/a><\/strong> sadly cancelled his upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party film festival for the weekend of July 12. According to a statement from Osbourne<\/a><\/strong>‘s wife and manager Sharon Osbourne<\/strong>, their son Jack Osbourne<\/strong> will take Ozzy<\/a><\/strong>‘s place.<\/p>\n “Regretfully, the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix because Ozzy<\/a><\/strong> is unable to travel at this time. However, Jack<\/strong> will be there flying the flag for the Osbournes<\/strong>. Everybody who bought the Osbourne package will, of course, get full refunds.<\/p>\n “We would like to thank you all for your constant support. It means so much to him, you have no idea. And all I can do is apologize that we won’t be there and I’m apologizing for people we’ve let down from my heart. So God bless you all. Thank you so much.”<\/p>\n Sadly the cancellation isn’t too surprising, given Ozzy<\/a><\/strong>‘s current health and his inability to perform live<\/a>. We wish Ozzy<\/a><\/strong> all the best with everything really, truly hope we can at least get that one final Black Sabbath<\/strong> show with Bill Ward<\/strong> behind the kit<\/a> sometime in the future. Though a proper Ozzy<\/a><\/strong> farewell tour would also be awesome.<\/p>\n \n
