Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong><\/a> is back in the saddle.<\/p>\n

The country music star, 30, has turned the page to a new chapter in her career today, beginning with her new single, \u201cCowboys Cry Too,\u201d featuring Noah Kahan<\/strong><\/a>. The emotional new release comes just weeks after Ballerini subtly announced her upcoming album via Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlbum: recorded mind: lost dibs: unimpressed,\u201d the singer captioned a collection of photos and videos of her in the recording studio. The upcoming LP is her fifth studio album and follows her 2022 release, Subject to Change<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The new single with Kahan, 27, is an emotional ballad combating the culture of toxic masculinity. Singing from two perspectives of a man and woman, Ballerini and Kahan address the struggles of living \u201cin a world that says \u2018saddle up and be a man.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he\u2019s showing his skin, letting me in, that\u2019s when he\u2019s toughest to me,\u201d Ballerini says in the chorus. \u201cI never knew cowboys cry too.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKelsea Ballerini treated the 2024 CMT Music Awards like her runway \u2014 and Us is here for it. Ballerini kicked off the awards show at the Moody Center in Austin by packing on the PDA with boyfriend Chase Stokes as the couple walked the red carpet together. The country singer rocked a red David Koma [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The release comes almost two months after the stars joined forces on the stage of the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards, where they collaborated by singing her 2023 single \u201cMountain With a View\u201d and Kahan\u2019s 2022 hit \u201cStick Season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kahan teased the new song ahead of its release, posting a sneak peek of his verse on the single via Instagram on Wednesday, June 27. \u201cThis entire verse is just\u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83e\ude79\ud83e\udd7a,\u201d Ballerini commented. \u201cCan\u2019t wait for y\u2019all to hear it.<\/p>\n
