Tenacious D<\/a><\/strong> has announced a handful of US tour dates for this October, but they might require some travel for a lot of fans. Get your tickets here<\/a> and maybe go put some gas in the car while you’re at it.<\/p>\n

As for the follow-up to their 2018 album Post-Apocalypto<\/em>, I guess we’ll see what happens? Tenacious D<\/a><\/strong> gave an update in 2023 noting that they were working on a new album for possibly 2024<\/a>, and had a whole covers record that you will very likely never hear.<\/p>\n

“We have to finish the new record,” said Tenacious D<\/a><\/strong> co-guitarist and vocalist Kyle Gass<\/strong> in the interview. “We’ve been working on it, we have a very strict six-year cycle.”<\/p>\n

He added: “[It’s a] classic six-year cycle. I think we might be a little overdue \u2026 We gotta do it this year. We can feel the heat, but you know, it’s gotta percolate. We got to fit in between Jack<\/strong> [Black<\/strong>‘s] very busy film schedule. But we’re going to do it. We’re going to get it. Publish or perish.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
