It ain’t new Rush, but it might be new to some people! Rush<\/a><\/strong>‘s Alex Lifeson<\/strong> and Geddy Lee<\/strong> have teamed up with Anthem Records to reissue the duo’s first-ever solo albums \u2013 Lifeson<\/strong>‘s 1996 album Victor<\/em> and Lee<\/strong>‘s 2000 offering My Favourite Headache<\/em> will be re-released on August 9, 2024, in various formats, including a range of vinyl configurations.<\/p>\n Victor, originally released on January 9, 1996, marks Alex Lifeson<\/strong>‘s solo debut. Lifeson<\/strong> took on the roles of songwriter, producer, and mixer for this album. For the first time, Victor<\/em> will be available on vinyl, featuring a complete remix by Lifeson<\/strong> himself to enhance the audio quality.<\/p>\n The fourth side of the album includes four instrumental tracks previously exclusive to Lifeson<\/strong>‘s website. Guest artists include lead vocalist Edwin<\/strong> from I Mother Earth<\/strong>, Primus<\/a><\/strong> bassist Les Claypool<\/strong>, and Canadian powerhouse vocalist Lisa Dalbello<\/strong>. The 15-song collection is paired with striking 2024 reimagined artwork by Fantoons Animation Studios.<\/p>\n My Favourite Headache<\/em>, Geddy Lee<\/strong>‘s only solo album to date, was initially released on November 14, 2000. This reissue marks its first vinyl pressing since a limited-edition Record Store Day exclusive in 2019.<\/p>\n The fourth side of the album features two instrumental mixes. Produced by Lee<\/strong>, Ben Mink<\/strong>, and David Leonard<\/strong>, the album includes contributions from Mink and drummers Matt Cameron<\/strong> (Soundgarden<\/a><\/strong>, Pearl Jam<\/a><\/strong>) and Jeremy Taggart<\/strong> (Our Lady Peace<\/strong>).<\/p>\n Pre-orders are available here<\/a>.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
