Here’s your first look at Metallica<\/a><\/strong> frontman James Hetfield<\/strong> playing some sorta sheriff in the upcoming film The Thicket<\/em>. Hetfield<\/strong> isn’t exactly the focus of the trailer, but you can catch a few glimpses of him doing some old-school-sheriff-type things like shooting a gun and looking at\u2026 something.<\/p>\n This is also not Hetfield<\/strong>‘s first time starring as law enforcement in a major film \u2013 Hetfield<\/strong> played Bob Hayward<\/strong> in the 2019 Ted Bundy<\/strong> flick Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile<\/em>. Better Black Album<\/em> royalties and his budding career as a cop-type in films, it’s safe to say that Hetfield<\/strong> is gonna be alright. Oh, and that Metallica<\/a><\/strong> band still does pretty okay too!<\/p>\n The Thicket<\/em> is directed by Elliott Lester<\/strong>, written by Christopher Kelly<\/strong>, and produced by (and starring) actor Peter Dinklage<\/strong>. The Thicket<\/em> also features Juliette Lewis<\/strong>, Esm\u00e9 Creed-Miles<\/strong>, Levon Hawke<\/strong>, Leslie Grace<\/strong>, and Gbenga Akinnagbe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The following a brief description of The Thicket<\/em> from IMDb: “Set in east Texas, the film follows a boy who, after his sister is kidnapped by a violent killer known only as Cut Throat Bill, enlists a fierce bounty hunter named Reginald Jones<\/strong> who grudgingly becomes the leader of the group of outcasts searching for the stolen girl.”\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
