Roadrunner Records is now streaming “The Last Ballad Of Damrod”, the first original song from the upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power<\/em>. The single was composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary<\/strong>, and features vocals from Jens Kidman<\/strong> of Meshuggah<\/a><\/strong> fame.<\/p>\n Says McCreary<\/strong>: “When I first glimpsed Damrod<\/strong>, the murderous troll in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season Two<\/em>, I knew immediately I had to call Jens Kidman,” said McCreary. “The aggressive frontman of Meshuggah<\/a><\/strong>, Jens put a searing brand on ‘The Last Ballad of Damrod’ with his blistering vocal performance.<\/p>\n “I am exhilarated to team up with Roadrunner Records, home to some of my favorite bands of all time like Gojira<\/a><\/strong> and Slipknot<\/a><\/strong>, to bring our song to the world. My collaboration with Jens<\/strong>, alongside virtuoso drummer Gene Hoglan<\/strong>, on ‘The Last Ballad of Damrod,’ offers an introduction to my exploration of the darker recesses of J.R.R.
