Things were looking a little grim for Swedish death metal band Grave<\/a><\/strong> earlier this year. Bassist Tobias Cristiansson<\/strong> and guitarist Mika Lagr\u00e9n<\/strong> left the band<\/a>, leaving frontman Ola Lindgren<\/strong> and drummer Tomas Lagr\u00e9n<\/strong> as the only members of the group. Lindgren<\/strong> stated at the time that Grave<\/a><\/strong> would attempt to reconfigure themselves, but made no promises.<\/p>\n Now Grave<\/a><\/strong> is back and holy shit is their lineup great! The band is now rejoined by drummer Jensa Paulsson<\/strong> who originally played for Grave<\/a><\/strong> between 1988 and 2002; bassist Jonas Torndal<\/strong> who originally played for Grave<\/a><\/strong> between 1989 and 1992; and guitarist and vocalist J\u00f6rgen Sandstr\u00f6m<\/strong>, who originally played for Grave<\/a><\/strong> between 1988 and 1995. While not explicitly stated, it seems that Lagr\u00e9n<\/strong> is also out considering the presence of Paulsson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n New school\/old school Grave<\/a><\/strong> will play their first show at PartySan metal Open Air, where they’ll revisit their first three albums \u2013 Into the Grave<\/em>, You’ll Never See\u2026<\/em>, and Soulless<\/em>. So yeah, these are pretty exciting times for Grave<\/a><\/strong> fans!<\/p>\n
