Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> dropped off their upcoming tour with W.A.S.P.<\/strong><\/a> due to “unforeseen circumstances” earlier this week, but that might not totally be the case.<\/p>\n Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> drummer Will Carroll<\/strong> took to his personal Facebook after the cancellation was announced to comment (as captured by Blabbermouth<\/a><\/em>): “Well, this has been a week of shitty news and (and it’s only Wednesday).<\/p>\n “Now that the tour’s been cancelled I have a bunch of time freed up for the remainder of the year. Instead of falling deeper into depression (which really doesn’t suit me) I plan on staying busy with the drumming. [Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> guitarist] Rob Cavestany<\/strong> and I are continuing work on the new music. NOBODY can put the kibosh on that. But in addition to that I’d like to put the word out that I’m interested in working on other projects. I love recording and I’m pretty efficient at it. Gigs and touring are possibilities as well. So if you’re interested in working together hit me up on DM or if you have my number then contact me directly.”<\/p>\n He added: “Please don’t ask me why we’re not on the WASP<\/a><\/strong> tour in the comments below. I think it’s pretty fucking obvious\u2026”<\/p>\n Ex-Exodus<\/a><\/strong> guitarist Rick Hunolt<\/strong> then expressed his own condolences to Carroll<\/strong> in the comments, to which Carroll<\/strong> replied: “It really does. The word BETRAYAL comes to mind.” He then added: “I notice people are slagging WASP<\/a><\/strong> here. As much as I’d like to I made a promise I would not go into details about why we are no longer doing the WASP<\/a><\/strong> tour\u2026 on social media. But to be clear it has absolutely nothing to do with WASP<\/a><\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Now it’s time to address the elephant in the room \u2013 Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> vocalist Mark Osegueda<\/strong> joining Kerry King<\/a><\/strong>‘s solo band. Osegueda<\/strong> recently revealed that he had to keep his involvement with King<\/strong>‘s solo band under wraps<\/a> until it got announced, which is especially interesting considering that Osegueda<\/strong> seemed pretty stoked about new Death Angel<\/strong><\/a> earlier this year. Osegueda<\/strong> has been out on the road with King<\/a><\/strong>‘s solo band as well, which is likely making it harder for Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> to plot tours and shows.<\/p>\n As of right now, Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> is still around and Osegueda<\/strong> is still fronting the band.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
