The Max Cavalera Dynasty Show is coming November 9 to the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ, but there’s one band in particular that we gotta talk about \u2013 Nailbomb<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Nailbomb<\/a><\/strong> was originally Max Cavalera<\/strong> (Soulfly<\/a><\/strong>, ex-Sepultura<\/a><\/strong>, etc.) and Alex Newport<\/strong> of Fudge Tunnel<\/strong>. The band released Point Blank<\/em> in 1994, played two shows in 1995, and that was it. Cavalera<\/strong> has since performed Nailbomb<\/a><\/strong> material with Soulfly<\/strong> live, but Nailbomb<\/a><\/strong> has never formally returned\u2026 until November 9.<\/p>\n

Nailbomb<\/a><\/strong> is now Max<\/strong> and Igor Cavalera<\/strong> on guitar alongside Pig Destroyer<\/a><\/strong> guitarist Travis Stone<\/strong>, bassist Johny Chow<\/strong> (Stone Sour<\/a><\/strong>, Fireball Ministry<\/a><\/strong>, Cavalera Conspiracy<\/a><\/strong>), Alex Cha<\/strong> of Pig Destroyer<\/a><\/strong> on sampler and Adam Jarvis<\/strong> (Misery Index<\/a><\/strong>, Pig Destroyer<\/a><\/strong>) on drums. No word on how active Nailbomb<\/a><\/strong> plans on being, but still \u2013 this is cool!<\/p>\n

“I’m looking forward to playing with Soulfly<\/a><\/strong> on the Lamb of God<\/a><\/strong> Headbangers Boat, going to the Dominican Republic and back. We will be crossing the Southern most moshpits of America to reach the cruise! The tour wraps with the Dynasty show,” said Cavalera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Super excited to present the Max Cavalera Dynasty Show in our hometown! This is a family steeped in the legacy of Metal! Making this night unforgettable will be the special rare appearance of Nailbomb<\/a><\/strong>! Maybe in the future, I’ll even be able to bring this package to the tribe and other parts of the world!”<\/p>\n
