Swiss masters of all things strange Schammasch<\/a><\/strong> has announced their new record The Maldoror Chants: Old Ocean<\/em> due out October 25. The band is now streaming th massive first single “They Have Found Their Master” in all its crushing, horrific glory.<\/p>\n Schammasch<\/a><\/strong> said of the single: “‘They Have Found Their Master’ is the looming of a tempest wave closing in, the destructive force of a monolithic wall of water, swallowing everything in its way to culminate in the melodic furiosity of classic 90s black metal towards the end, additionally embellished by Kathrine Shepard<\/strong>‘s hauntingly beautiful vocal contribution.”<\/p>\n The Maldoror Chants: Old Ocean<\/em> features vocalist Kathrine Shepard<\/strong> (Sylvaine<\/a><\/strong>) on “They Have Found Their Master” and “Image Of The Infinite”.<\/p>\n The record was produced by Schammasch<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>‘s own C.S.R.<\/strong> alongside Michael Zech<\/strong> (The Ruins Of Beverast<\/strong>, Secrets Of The Moon<\/strong>), as well as mixing and mastering courtesy of Markus Stock<\/strong> (Empyrium<\/strong>, The Vision Bleak<\/strong>). As with The Maldoror Chants: Hermaphrodite<\/em>, the artwork for the release was created by Mexican surrealist He\u0301ctor Pineda<\/strong>, with the layout completed by C.S.R.<\/strong>‘s own Eye of Saros.<\/p>\n Pre-orders are available here<\/a>.
