Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> recently dropped off their upcoming tour with W.A.S.P.<\/strong><\/a> due to “unforeseen circumstances,” though the news came from W.A.S.P.<\/a><\/strong> at the time and not Death Angel<\/a><\/strong>. Then things got a little heated when Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> drummer Will Carroll<\/strong> took to his personal Facebook page<\/a> to make a few comments, saying in part “Please don’t ask me why we’re not on the WASP<\/a><\/strong> tour in the comments below. I think it’s pretty fucking obvious\u2026”<\/p>\n Ex-Exodus<\/a><\/strong> guitarist Rick Hunolt<\/strong> then expressed his own condolences to Carroll<\/strong> in the comments, to which Carroll<\/strong> replied: “It really does. The word BETRAYAL comes to mind.” He then added: “I notice people are slagging WASP<\/a><\/strong> here. As much as I’d like to I made a promise I would not go into details about why we are no longer doing the WASP<\/a><\/strong> tour\u2026 on social media. But to be clear it has absolutely nothing to do with WASP<\/a><\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> has now finally issued their own statement, which largely avoids any specifics and only blames the cancellation on “various unforeseen circumstances and numerous scheduling conflicts.”<\/p>\n “In light of recent events we’d like to set the record straight on a few things,” wrote Death Angel<\/a><\/strong>. “We unfortunately had to drop off of the WASP<\/a><\/strong> tour due to various unforeseen circumstances and numerous scheduling conflicts that arose. We are more than appreciative of Blackie Lawless<\/strong> and the entire WASP<\/a><\/strong> camp for so graciously giving us the opportunity and wish them a very successful tour.<\/p>\n “Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> is commited to giving you the fans, only the very best of what we have to offer and we look forward to getting back to you all very soon.<\/p>\n “Respectfully, Death Angel<\/a><\/strong>”<\/p>\n While the band didn’t specifically address it, it’s worth noting that Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> vocalist Mark Osegueda<\/strong> is Kerry King<\/a><\/strong>‘s solo band’s vocalist. Osegueda<\/strong> recently revealed that he had to keep his involvement with King<\/strong>‘s solo band under wraps<\/a> until it got announced, which is especially interesting considering that Osegueda<\/strong> seemed pretty stoked about new Death Angel<\/strong><\/a> earlier this year. Osegueda<\/strong> has been out on the road with King<\/a><\/strong>‘s solo band as well, which is likely making it harder for Death Angel<\/a><\/strong> to plot tours and shows.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
