It seems that Hunter King, Summer Newman 1.0 just shared with Allison Lanier, Summer Newman 2.0 about \u201cHarrison\u2019s Adoption\u201d in Italy. With all of the screen time Harrison receives, it\u2019s interesting his adoption hasn\u2019t previously been mentioned.<\/em><\/h5>\n<p class=\"\">What about Harrison\u2019s last name? Is he still Harrison Locke as he was named at birth? Or, was he renamed Harrison Abbott during his make-believe adoption in Italy?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><em>This week\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/notmyfirstday.com\/category\/yr-the-weekly-wtf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Weekly #WTF on Y&amp;R<\/a>\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summer Adopted Harrison, Since When on Y&amp;R?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">Did Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) just make up an adoption to get her grandfather Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to help her in her custody battle against her ex-husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)? While Young &amp; the Restless fans didn\u2019t get to see Summer &amp; Kyle get married, they certainly heard about it as it was just before Victoria Newman\u2019s (Ameilia Heinle) &amp; Ashland Locke\u2019s (Richard Burgi) wedding of the century, also in Italy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Wouldn\u2019t Y&amp;R fans have heard about Harrison\u2019s adoption during &amp;\/or after it took place?  Young &amp; Restless fans didn\u2019t hear about Harrison\u2019s adoption because it didn\u2019t take place.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Harrison\u2019s Biological Mother Never Gave Up Custody<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">Again, it\u2019s time to beat the dead horse, apparently.  Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) was arrested for a financial crime.  That\u2019s it.  Genoa City residents on Young &amp; the Restless have been arrested for actual violent crimes &amp; did not lose custody of their children.  In addition, Tara Locke never gave up custody of her son Harrison.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<nav class=\"jp-relatedposts-i2 wp-block-jetpack-related-posts\" data-layout=\"grid\" aria-label=\"Related...\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Related\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/nav>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kyle Abbott\u2019s Non-biological Last Straw with Summer<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">Kyle Abbott\u2019s last straw with Summer Newman to prevent her from being awarded sole custody of Harrison (Redding Munsell) is that she is not his biological mother &amp; this is because Summer never adopted Harrison.  If Summer Newman did adopt Harrison, Kyle Abbott would have an entirely different approach to Harrison\u2019s custody battle.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summer Spin or Y&amp;R Writers Assume Fan Ignorance<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">Young &amp; the Restless fans are left wondering if Summer Newman concocted Harrison\u2019s adoption in Italy to get her grandfather Victor Newman to help her manage Kyle, or if Y&amp;R writers again are assuming Y&amp;R fan ignorance.  Remember when \u201cthe Grand Phoenix was getting renovations\u201d &amp; all of the guests magically moved to the GCAC &amp; nothing with the Genoa City hotel scene has changed since?
