100 Demons<\/strong> bassist Erik Barrett<\/strong> has sadly passed away. News of Barrett<\/strong>‘s death comes from vocalist Peter Morcey<\/strong>, who posted the following memorial on Instagram. We extend our deepest condolences to Barrett<\/strong>‘s friends and family at this time.<\/p>\n “When I received the news yesterday it felt as if all time came to a standstill,” wrote Morcey<\/strong>. “It was the last thing I was expecting to hear, especially just a couple days after losing a mutual friend of ours. I\u2019m posting this to let you all know that Erik<\/strong> Barrett<\/strong> has left this world, and we are all devastated. A true friend, brother and bandmate..gone in the blink of an eye.<\/p>\n “We had some big things in the works this year my friend. I was so happy you were back in the band playing with us again. I wish I knew what was going on in your head. I know I could have made a difference. You left behind so many people who loved you\u2026..your family, your friends, your girlfriend and bandmates are in shock. I haven\u2019t slept all night bc my mind was flooded with every memory of our history together. We would have done anything and everything for you.<\/p>\n “We will always love you Erik<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n
