Current Killswitch Engage<\/a><\/strong> guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz<\/strong><\/strong> and former Killswitch Engage<\/a><\/strong> vocalist Howard Jones<\/strong> have spent a good amount of time recording their debut album. Work has largely wrapped up on the new project and the duo have moved on to mixing! They’ve also got a name, but we don’t know what it is.<\/p>\n “Got to work on a couple different projects coming out this fall, stay tuned. Back to demos for SION<\/a><\/strong>,” wrote Jones<\/strong>. “Adam D<\/strong> is still mixing our new album, slowly but surely we will get it out. We’ve settled on a band name. Take a guess\u2026”<\/p>\n Anyway, here are my guesses on the band name:<\/p>\n Hit me up guys. I have boatloads of terrible ideas.<\/p>\n Killswitch Engage<\/a><\/strong> parted ways with vocalist Howard Jones<\/strong> in 2012, but over the years have improved their relationship. Jones<\/strong> has been joining Killswitch Engage<\/a><\/strong> on stage here and there to play some of his old material<\/a>, and even had him in the studio for guest spot on their 2019 album Atonement<\/em>.<\/p>\n The new project will be the first time Jones<\/strong> and Dutkiewicz<\/strong> have been in a band together since Killswitch Engage<\/a><\/strong>‘s 2009 self-titled album.<\/p>\n\n
