M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce<\/a><\/strong> is now streaming their cover of Beastie Boys<\/strong>‘ classic track “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)” and it’s\u2026 a cover. It’s not bad, it’s not great, it’s mostly just there. The cover speeds things up a bit (perfect for the capabilities of John 5<\/strong>), but the vocals feel largely bored with the whole thing. Again, it’s not necessarily a bad cover \u2013 it’s just one you’re gonna get to the end of and question why it exists.<\/p>\n Anyway, stream it below. The cover is a part of a new EP called Cancelled<\/em> due out on October 4 featuring the previously-released “Dogs Of War”<\/a> alongside a new song called “Cancelled”.<\/p>\n “It was really great getting in the studio and working on some tracks together,” said M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce<\/a><\/strong> of the EP. “What started out as a couple demo ideas turned into this EP produced by Bob Rock<\/strong>. We look forward to getting back into the studio again soon and writing more new music, as well.”<\/p>\n
